Rachael Leigh Cook Like’s Obama’s Fair Play

The morning after the one and only Vice-Presidential candidate debates seems like a great time to dive back into the realm of celebrity politics. This time the fount of political wisdom is the ever adorable and underappreciated Rachael Leigh Cook, who’s stared in “Descent” and “Nancy Drew.” During a recent trip to Drexel University in Philadelphia as part of Barack Obama’s “8 for 08” event on September 30th, Rachel spoke out about why she’s voting for Obama:

“… What really draws me toward Obama is his tolerance for people who are obviously willing to make it a dirty fight. After all that, Obama still tries to keep it clean and talk about topics that really matter.”

At this late stage in the game one does have to give Barack a few props for not sinking to the level of his formidable opponents. Of course whether or not playing fair can win Obama the White House is something we won’t really know until November.
